How do I convince my parents to allow me to become a pop star ?

I've been tired of asking my mom to become a pop star its my lifetime dream she accepts but my dad says its bad it wrong to become a pop star he always says that and he tells me that i will be bad girl so can anyone tell me what to do ??? and by the way mom and dad are divorced and im up to 14 on february please help!How do I convince my parents to allow me to become a pop star ?you don't need permission.....How do I convince my parents to allow me to become a pop star ?Start small. Try and get involved with performance arts groups and summer camps around your city, "just for fun", and work hard. Get involved with theatre in your school, even if you wanna be a pop star, you need the performance skills. Then, when you've worked hard and can showcase your talent, perhaps you can change their mind.

I tried this technique when I decided I wanted to be an actor. It didn't work, I ended up moving out at 16 to live with my friends in the theatre community, and four years later I'm living in NYC and making my off-broadway debut in a month!

Morale of the story: If you know it's meant to be, make it happen. You can't make your parents support you, and it sucks when they don't. But if you want this, you're gonna hafta accept the circumstances and work as hard as you can.
