Is the Star Wars Ride Open in Disney World?

I am visiting Disney World in Orlando Florida this April 2011, and I was wondering if the Star Wars ride is open or if they are renovating it for Star Tours 2. Also please only comment if you actually know. Thanks!Is the Star Wars Ride Open in Disney World?No the Star Tours 2 ride is not open yet. It is not schedculed to open till star wars weekend. The opening date was just announced for May 20th. They usually do soft openings a couple weeks before the actually opening date. This is means they may open it for a few hundred guest to ride it to see how things work with actual guest but I would definitly not expect it to be open at all when you are there this April. Sorry.Is the Star Wars Ride Open in Disney World?sorry but star tours is closed for reimaging and it will not be open in april. it reopens as star tours II on may 20th 2011 to coinside with the first day of "star wars weekends 2011".

the only way it would be open before that is if they have a "soft opening" sooner thats not announced publicly and then have the "grand opening" on may 20th as sceduled.
