I believe Ryan threw a 200 pitch game or somewhere around that once, but I don't know what the official record is.What's the most pitches a pitcher has thrown in a complete game?On May 1, 1920 Brooklyn and Boston played the longest game in history, 26 innings. Leon Cadore and Joe Oeschger both pitched the entire game. There were no exact pitch counts for the game but historians estimate that Cadore threw 345 pitches, and Oeschger 319.
edit: I guess the "official" record is 207 by Stan Williams of the Dodgers on May 17, 1961.
