How can I be an online game developer?

I see a lot of game developers, and I use Scratch, but can I make those into real games?How can I be an online game developer?Yes and No. Using scratch you can create some of those into real games, but most games are using Java or other data type codes. Scratch will produce some but not always the best. Java and other computer languages develop better and reliable games. Sorry but I would get better software and better programming languages than Scratch.
