Who can I contact to make me a novelty electronic toy?

I have an idea for a toy but I don't know where to start looking to find a manufacturer. Traditional Web searches give me Far Eastern or US companies. I'd ideally like a UK based company if possible. Can you help?Who can I contact to make me a novelty electronic toy?The best way to go about it is to make a prototype and then get the idea patented . it will cost a lot of money , but you will then have the toy bought off you if the manufacturer likes it . You cant just go to a mainstream mamnufacturer with an idea you need to have researched your market , made a prototype etc.

When youve done that i would advise looking into companies which specialise electronic toys and approaching them .
