Is it okay to give my puppy a toy while away at work to keep him occupied?

I am getting a French Mastiff in a few weeks and when I go to work I want to know if it oaky to give him a toy or bone or anything to keep him occupied/to play with while I am away? I have been reading and they need alot of attention throughout the day, if i cant get anyone to take for potty break or to play with him, what is the best thing to do for him?Is it okay to give my puppy a toy while away at work to keep him occupied?leave him with a bowl of ice to chew and hydrate, and leave him with a chew toy that you can put peanutbutter in....Is it okay to give my puppy a toy while away at work to keep him occupied?
A bored dog is a destructive dog. Try a Kong toy that you can put treats in. Hours of entertainment. Dog has to figure out how to get the treats out and that's all the encouragement they need.Is it okay to give my puppy a toy while away at work to keep him occupied?I breed French Mastiff also know as Dog da Bordeaux and would not even consider getting one as a puppy if you are not going to be at home with him. you could come home to half a house. Is it okay to give my puppy a toy while away at work to keep him occupied?
a puppy is a baby it shouldnt be left alone at home, if your life situation doesnt allow for a puppy now, then you should adopt an adult dog

its different when a puppy is in the litter and with litter mates and mom, then its not alone, you should find someone who can watch it in the begining because it will be too young too be left alone all day, it will need both potty breaks, company and feeding...puppies grow a lot, have small bellies and need a lot of nutrients too keep growing they thus need food 3-4 times a day even when they go to new homes, evenly spaced out, a regular work day is too far spaced outIs it okay to give my puppy a toy while away at work to keep him occupied? All dogs need a lot of attention, toys are never a substitute.

Puppies who are left home alone can become anti social and aggressive and they is no way that they can be toilet trained. Some uncaring people will suggest a crate, however there is no crate large enough to cope with the amount of urine that a French Mastiff will produce. Your house will stink forever big time and the dog will be miserable.

People who get a dog and leave it home alone often are unable to cope. Their dog is un- adoptable because it is anti social and not house trained. Please don't get a puppy.
