I have most of the traditional game systems such as a snes, sega, nintendo 64, ps1, and ps2. Well, you can still trade in your PS2 at GameStop but won't get much for it so there's that if you're really that desperate to get rid of it. Check around town for a Play N Trade or another locally owned video game store. Many of those still actively participate in the retro game market. Most stores don't except game that old. Some small game stores do, but for like 4 to 5 bucks. If not then the best thing is to recycle them at Bestbuy or Gamestop.
