What does only one star in the sky symbolize?

Ok so i was sitting next to my ex, we were trying to talk things over and then he's like omg look there is only one star in the sky. It was amazing, i never saw something like that before and i started to cry thinking maybe this symbolizes something? Or is it my imagination :( lolWhat does only one star in the sky symbolize?There is a thing called "Light Pollution". If you live in or near a large urban area, the lights from ground-level radiate upward into the night sky and literally wash out all but the brightest stars. If you sit outside long enough and let your eyes adjust to the (light-polluted) dark skies, more and more stars will become visible (faintly). If you throw in a light haze or light cloud cover, you can actually see how the lights from the city reflect off of it and make your ability to see stars even worse. No, It isn't your imagination. What it symbolizes is how technology and urban growth has diminished our ability to enjoy the beautiful night sky above us.What does only one star in the sky symbolize?%26lt;QUOTE%26gt;What does only one star in the sky symbolize?%26lt;/QUOTE%26gt;

It means that you're in a very light-polluted location (probably a big city) and it's too bright to see others.

You probably spotted Jupiter, not a star. It'll be quite visible in the night sky in the following months, specifically after sunset.What does only one star in the sky symbolize?All it indicates is that you have really bad light pollution where you live. The one thing you saw in the sky was probably the planet Jupiter, which is currently very bright. Did you really look very hard for other stars. Even in a light polluted city I can usually see dozens of other stars, if I let my eyes adapt and pay close attention.What does only one star in the sky symbolize?
It symbolizes the fact that there is to much light or cloud cover to see the rest of them. It also points out the fact that you WEREN'T seeing a star to begin with and you were seeing a planet.
