What would its temperature (in K) have to be?For a star to have the same luminosity as Deneb and still be on the Main sequence, what would its radius be?Deneb is an A2Ia star, thus on a giant branch. At 3200 lightyears distance and an apparent magnitude of +1.25, its luminosity is extremely high. Only W stars (Wolf Rayet) could be on the Main sequence with the radius and temperature you require. Their temperatures run around 150,000F, with diameters of 10 million miles or more. Very rare stars.
