How to configure gmail account in samsung star nxt?

Hi.. I'm using samsung star nxt. I couldn't receive or send emails from my gmail account. I think I configured wrongly. Pls help me to configure it. When I'm downloading mails it shows "DNS faild" or "Login faild".
