What rank is a star in a circle on call of duty world at war online?

when you're online and you look at other peoples level they have a symbol. i noticed that there is a person with the same lvl as me but he had a different symbol. it is a white star in a black circle. does that mean that he is a moderator or a special person or achievement or something?

i also noticed that there was a lvl 56 w/ the same symbol in boot camp (which is impossible for boot camp wich kicks you out at lvl 9)What rank is a star in a circle on call of duty world at war online?1st Prestige



Once you get to level 65 you are given the option to "prestige", which is basically starting over from level one. You can do this 10 times before you have reached the "maximum level".

When you level up 65 times, you have the option to go prestige. Going prestige takes away all of your guns and challenges, and everything that you have unlocked or done. All of those except for your stats and your clan tag. When you go prestige you go back to level one. You are givin a new sign and that stays with you until you go prestige again. you can prestige ten times and then your stuck at level 65.What rank is a star in a circle on call of duty world at war online?
If its a grey star with a brown cirlce all the way around it, it means that he reached level 65, and begun his first prestiege. If its a grey star with a real dark 3/4 circle going around it, then he is in his fourth prestiege, which means he got to level 65, started over, for the fourth time.
