What kind of wire could I use that would be sturdy enough to make a star out of and attach lights but pliable?
Want to make a star and beleive sign for outdoor decor. Please help.What kind of wire could I use that would be sturdy enough to make a star out of and attach lights but pliable?Aluminum wire, should be able to get it at Home Depot or Lowes, you need about 6 or 8 gauge, really heavy. Aluminum bends pretty easily and you should have no trouble working with it. The coppermarket is high, copper is really expensive right now. You can get clothesline wire but it is stiff and hard to bend.What kind of wire could I use that would be sturdy enough to make a star out of and attach lights but pliable?copper ground wire? the thick stuff they use to ground the electric panel on a house. home depot should have some. or just go there and they'll have something.
