The Star Spangled Banner is a patriotic song of love and appreciation. It belts out with great feeling a tune that stirs the heart with love for a wonderfully rich region edged on both sides with majestically thrusting mountains which, from a distance, appear purple. These rim America on both the Pacific and the Atlantic coasts, and between them lie great plains that turn golden with amber waves of grain.
And there is a union of the states forming a huge brotherhood that crowns all this good land, where the forefathers who ventured forth looking for freedom developed the largest and greatest democracy in the known history of the earth.
Rugged individualism was the dream that our forefathers crated into reality, which, unhappily,can be unraveled when voters fail to choose wisely and morph back into a socialist dictatorship which is the first step towards losing all that freedom the founders of the American constitution wanted us to enjoy.
The Star Spangled Banner sings of the love and beauty and bounty and brotherhood. Do you think it is a beautiful song and does it bring tears to your eyes when it is well sung?
